The SENER Foundation collects and processes the identity and contact data, academic information and personal characteristics provided by the users, necessary to contact us and/or manage your participation in our scientific and technological research awards.

In addition, by browsing this web and using cookies, the SENER Foundation collects data from the users (such as the type of browser used, the operating system or the IP address), in order to improve their browsing and effectively manage the web. Purposes and legal basis for the processing

The SENER Foundation will process your personal data for the purposes indicated below:

To obtain statistical information regarding the traffic of the website, basing the treatment on the lawful interest of the SENER Foundation of the SENER Foundation with restricted management of this website.
To manage your request for contact, through our web form enabled for this purpose, based on the consent given by sending the form.
To process your participation in our competitions and awards for scientific and technological research, based on the consent given by sending us your doctoral thesis and other information required to submit your candidacy.

Once the purpose has been achieved, the personal data shall be kept for the following periods:

Information collected for manage your candidatures in our awards: while the edition of the competition is in force and, subsequently, for the periods in which complaints may arise.

The SENER Foundation will not communicate users’ personal data to third party companies, except in cases of legal obligation or if the interested party’s consent exists in this sense.

In certain cases and because of the SENER Group operates internationally, the personal data of the participants may be subject to international data transfers to other Group entities established abroad.
