SENER’s President and SENER Foundation President, Andrés Sendagorta, takes part in an audience with the King of Spain at the Business Observatory for Inclusive Growth

  • Participating in the audience were representatives of companies and organizations involved in the Business Observatory for Inclusive Growth (OEPCI), along with CODESPA Foundation: BBVA, Boston Consulting Group, IESE Business School, SENER, the KPMG and UNIR Foundations, Open Value Foundation and Divina Pastora Seguros.
  • During the meeting, the Observatory’s third report, “Technology with a Purpose. The social impact of corporations in the digital age,” was presented, along with an outline of the fourth study, which will be published on November 25.
  • “We sincerely appreciate the consideration given by H.M the King in these times of pandemic, as well as his trust in the projects of CODESPA, a foundation that he has been chairing for 20 years,” said José Ignacio González-Aller Gross, Managing Director of the CODESPA Foundation.

The Business Observatory for Inclusive Growth (OEPCI, in Spanish acronym), devoted to promoting social welfare through corporations, was received by H.M. King Felipe VI at a private audience at the Zarzuela Palace. The event was attended by representatives of the Observatory’s companies, which currently include the CODESPA Foundation, BBVA, Boston Consulting Group, IESE Business School, SENER, the KPMG and UNIR foundations, la Caixa Foundation, Open Value Foundation and Divina Pastora Seguros.

The attendees discussed the situation in Spain with Felipe VI, as well as the concrete actions that companies are engaging in to promote inclusive growth that leaves no one behind. During the audience, the work of the companies present was discussed in an effort to identify and disseminate successful experiences and tools to guide other companies.

During the meeting, the Observatory’s third report, “Technology with a Purpose. The social impact of corporations in the digital age,” was presented, along with an outline of the fourth study, which will be published on November 25. Representatives from CODESPA explained the research process used at the observatory and how the member companies are actively involved in the preparation of reports.

José Ignacio González-Aller Gross, Managing Director of CODESPA Foundation, explained that “H. M. Felipe VI has been the Honorary President of CODESPA Foundation for 20 years, a post he took over from his grandfather, Juan de Borbón. We sincerely appreciate his trust in CODESPA projects and his words in favor of promoting inclusive growth.”
