A challenge for science

With “A challenge for science” we promote scientific-technological vocations in children and young people

In this project, which we carry out in collaboration with Sener, we bring the world of engineering and technology closer to young people and adolescents in their schools. Through the presentation of different challenges that Sener professionals face daily, we show how engineering, science and technology can improve people’s lives.

Thanks to “A challenge for science”, more than 800 young people have learned about the world of engineering and what their job could be in the future, if they decide to study a technical career.

“A challenge for science” has the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

In addition, the project has the STEAM Euskadi seal, as a finalist initiative in the STEAM Euskadi Sariak Awards granted by the Basque Government’s Department of Education in collaboration with the Basque Innovation Agency Innobasque.

Likewise, “A challenge for science” has received in 2022 the Educaweb Award for Academic and Professional Guidance, in the Business category.
